About us

The Mashiv HaRuach organization was established as a volunteer initiative to support individuals from civil society who dedicate their lives to helping others, especially in light of the events of October 7 and the war that followed.

The organization was founded on the understanding that the national effort does not end on the battlefield or in emergency zones and that ongoing support is necessary to cope with these events.

Since October 7 2023, thousands of people have participated in Mashiv HaRuach workshops. This extends to those who were directly involved as first responders, such as identification and rescue teams and medical teams, and extending to wider circles of reservists’ spouses, war casualties’ spouses, therapists, education teams, community officials from frontline communities and more.

The workshops were carefully designed by a professional team specializing in resilience and growth through crisis and are specifically tailored to meet the sole needs of each group.

The program offers continuous support, including one-day or two-day workshops and individual and group therapy in several pastoral locations across the country.

The People Behind…

We are a group of long-time friends from the community of Oranit, bringing with us extensive experience in community and social activities. We are driven by a deep sense of responsibility for the people around us and a genuine desire to make a positive impact and do good.

When the events of October 7th shook us all, we knew that this was the moment to act and leverage our knowledge, experience, and connections to provide a real response to the immense need that had arisen.

We gathered leading professionals from the field of trauma, resilience, and overcoming crisis, formed partnerships with key organizations in the areas of growth and resilience, and received support and recognition from foundations and philanthropists who believed in us and the project.
